FAQ
What is New Works Project?
New Works Project is a nonprofit music cooperative based in Northwest Arkansas with national reach. We create accessible pathways for composers, performers, educators, and supporters to participate in contemporary classical music.
Who can participate in New Works Project?
Our programs are designed for composers, performers, educators, supporters, and anyone interested in creating, commissioning, funding, performing, or sharing new classical music.
What membership options are available?
Community Supporters contribute $49–$99+ per year, while Sustaining Supporters contribute $149+ annually and receive access to deeper community and professional opportunities, including Studio Class.
Do I need to be a professional musician to get involved?
No. New Works Project offers several entry points for participation. You can support commissions, become a co-commissioner, commission a MiniWork, or explore other programs without being a professional musician.
